You leave with notes in your own hand and a one-page reading list that names the shelf marks used that hour. The folders stay in Wando.
Who sits with you
Hae-won Park, proprietor, or Min-jae Cho when a Saturday workshop is being set the same week.
The visit includes
- A side-bay desk held for the full 75 minutes
- Folders pulled before you arrive, matched to the question in your letter
- A spoken walk-through of those folders, at the pace of the page
- Pencil, cotton gloves if a photograph print is on the stack, and notepaper
- A one-page reading list to take on the ferry
Kept in your hands
- Any choice to acquire, hold, or part with a collectible
- Wallet keys and recovery phrases, which the desk does not ask to see
- Letters you may later send to an artist or a marketplace
How it proceeds

Write
Send the collection name or the question, a preferred date, and whether you have sat with Solana records before. A public mint address is welcome.

Match
Within two working days the reader replies with a shelf plan, or asks for a narrower question if the first letter covers several collections.

Sit
You take the side bay. The reader stays for the hour, marks passages, and stops when a term needs a plain-language restatement.

Carry
You keep the reading list. The catalogues, prints, and interview transcripts go back on the Records, Makers, or Care run.
Before you come
Name one collection or one theme in the letter. Say if you would like the hour weighted toward mint records, artist files, or care of metadata. Leave recovery phrases out of the message. If you are crossing from the mainland, leave time for the Geumil ferry before 11:00.
Fee
90,000 KRW is the full fee. After a time is agreed, the library sends transfer details. The hour is held once the transfer arrives. Fees are published here so a visit can be planned; the site itself does not take payment.
Limits of the booking
- One question cluster: a single collection, or a single theme such as update authority
- Shelf materials remain in the room
- The fee covers the Wando desk; travel to another city is arranged only as a separate written agreement
- The working shelves are in English; conversation around them may be in Korean
