What a visit costs, and what changes the figure
Fees are published so you can plan the ferry and the transfer. The reading room confirms a time by email and then sends bank details. This page describes the charges; it does not take payment.

The shelf hour stays one price
Ninety thousand won covers preparation, the 75 minutes, and the one-page list. A question that spills into a second collection is a second appointment, offered in the reply rather than added in the room. Travel beyond Wando-gun is quoted only if you ask for it in writing, and it is rare.
Saturday money is per chair
The 55,000 KRW seat includes the glossary and tea. It does not include the Geumil ferry. The 20,000 KRW holding amount is part of the fee, not a tip and not a separate product. If the library cancels the morning, everything received for that seat is returned.
When a brief costs more than the start
The starting 180,000 KRW assumes one collection or one tight question, an intake of 30 minutes, and a packet of about 8 to 14 pages in English. The fee rises, and only after a written revision, if you ask for a second collection, facing Korean and English pages, or a second intake.
Postage inside Korea is added at the postal cost when you ask the room to send the packet. Collection in Geumil-eup has no postage line.
